How am I able to contribute to people involved in scientific research?
My law firm has a specific expertise on digital law including copyright and defamation issues.
This is something that most researchers have to deal with in their daily job so I took the chance to accept the main partnership AIRIcerca offered.
AIRIcerca is an international association for all the Italian academics living abroad.
They asked me to become AIRILegal legal manager, so to provide an initial free consultation to all the associate living abroad.
I said yes, of course!
AIRILegal launch press was hosted by the journalist Zeina Ayache in April 2021 and since then we had the chance to help many researchers.
Sometimes to obtain money compensation, some other times to make their mind clear, sometimes just to give few, simple – but essential – tips to keep doing their job in a lawful and compliant way.
In this way I can be both a good lawyer and a decent citizen, by helping my fellow citizens who are living abroad and committing themself to scientific and academic research.
Being an useful part of an international support network is something I have always been aiming at when I was a young law student. This is my efficient and actual way to contribute to scientific research.
